Supports groups which provides services for families with young children living on Caia Park. We can help you find a group in your area and give advice in settling your child in playgroup.
We encourage parents to be come fully involved with the running of the groups and take an active part of their children's early education and development.
We also arrange special events outings and training.
How can we help?
1. By strengthening the links between existing groups and statutory and voluntary bodies.
2. By encouraging the formation of new groups.
3. By attracting new and greater funding for early years groups.
4. By offering training for staff and parents.
5. By supporting and enabling parents to provide quality child care services.
Who supports and funds?
Communities First currently provides core funding for the Forum. The Community Fund provides project funding for Family Support work. Grants from Wrexham Social Services and Caia Park Community Council allow financial help to be given to our member groups., Lloyds / T.S.B. Children in Need and other organisations have also provided funding.
Toy Library
To all member groups there is a selection of theme boxes, large play equipment, games and books available for loan from our Toy Library.
