The
Enable Project
The Project
was set up five years ago to support the most disadvantaged groups in the
Caia Park area.
Further funding from the WELSH ASSEMBLY has ensured the continuation of the
Project.
The Enable Project empowers, motivates and supports students to gain self
confidence, self esteem and social skills in an informal learning
environment. This is an integrated Project which breaks down the barriers to
education, promotes progression to independence and gives people the
confidence and ability to seek and meet their vocational aspirations.
Agencies referring into the Project are the Community Mental Health Team,
Community Drugs & Alcohol Team, Hafan Wen, First Access, Belmont House,
Llwyn-y-Groes, Wrexham Mind, Coed Celyn, The
Foyer, Salvation Army, Womens Aid, Fairhome Nursing Home. People can also
self refer.
