Caia Park Work Club

The Caia Park Work Club offers help and advice on training, writing a C.V. and setting up your own business.  We work in partnership with Careers Wales, Working Links and Job Centre Plus to provide help and advice in seeking work.

We welcome you to attend our Work Club which provides support and information for people who are looking for work. Work club is open:

    Monday - Thursday: 10:00-12:30
    Monday - Thursday: 13:00-15:30
    Friday: 10:00-12:30


Work club resources include:

  • Job Search sessions led by an Employment Mentor focusing on writing applications and developing and effective CV.


  • Support and advice from Caia Park Partnership Employment Mentors on a drop in basis.


  • The Reach for Work team can give specialist employment advice and support to to local residents.


  • Information on current vacancies, training and support services.


  • Free access to computers for job search, CV writing, completing applications and information on employment benefits.


  • "Hotline" to the Job Centre.


  • Local newspapers.


  • The Volunteer Bureau recruits and places individuals who wish to gain skills and experience through volunteering.


  • A key skills class to help you brush up on your English and Maths.


  • Children's Information Bureau electronic booth holding information on anything relating to children and young people including childcare.


  • Information on volunteer vacancies.
