International Volunteers 2005  

Caia Park Partnership recently welcomed a team of 8 international volunteers ranging from the Czech Republic, Romania, France, Germany, Italy, Jordan & Serbia.

The volunteer’s, took part in a two week project to support a community based initiative, which was to create an outdoor play area situated at the Life Long Learning Centre.

The volunteers worked alongside Caia Park Partnership staff and volunteers, the project which was competed successfully within the two weeks will enable the children of parents who are doing training at the centre to be able to play outside safely in the new crèche area.

The Partnership also held a cultural evening which allowed each volunteer to put on a display about their own country’s culture and gave the Caia Park Community the chance to experience different food’s and beliefs,

The volunteers also worked alongside the SPLASH team, working with 11-16 year old’s, and enjoyed trips to the Black Country Museum & Llanberris.
