resources and events of their village, and people further a field wanting to
learn about Brymbo. It is also for people who once lived in Brymbo or have
family history connected with the village.
To make the website valuable to its target audience, Brymbo.org will help
develop the computer skills and interests of the local community. It also aims
to encourage people to both use Brymbo.org as an information source and to
contribute to its ongoing development.
Activities
The website contains a wealth of information about Brymbo, much of it regularly
updated (official local parish news, other news stories, photos from local
events) historical and contact information.
Historical information is also updated as people write in with their stories of
past life in Brymbo. After the initial aim of providing web pages for all the
community and voluntary sector organisations in the Brymbo area, the
idea is to extend to providing a nearly comprehensive, magazine-based
information service on the area with news, events and views which will be
regularly added.
