Fly Tippers
Over the past few years fly tipping has become one of the most anti social
acts that anyone could perpetrate, it not only looks unsightly but is also a
danger to all living things, from humans to animals and plants.
In our community we have had numerous occasions of this evil practice, committed
by people that have very little going for then except an arrogant attitude that
no one will do anything to stop them. The most recent abomination took place on
the 26th September in the Glas Coed woods, to the west of Brymbo, in this
incident the following items were tipped: Car parts, wheels, tyres, car paint
and thinners, also some paper work, (see photographs) these show the area with
the items in place, and during the clean up by Brymbo Developments the owners of
the old Brymbo Steelworks site, who are, in conjunction with the Environmental
department of Wrexham Council investigating this, and other incidences in and
around the area.
A request from Brymbo Community Council to all resident of, not just Brymbo
Ward, but to all members of the public in Wrexham County Borough area, if you
see anyone fly tipping try and get a vehicle registration number, or a telephone
number and report it to Wrexham Councils Environmental department Tel:-01978
292040.
Please do not put yourself in danger. only take a number if you think you
can do so without any confrontation.
