About the CLiP Project

As a result of the successful Partnership bid with the Big Lottery Fund the ‘Community Learning in Partnership’ project has been up and running now since April 2006.  Community groups across Wrexham County Borough are able to access free training opportunities.

The Community Learning in Partnership (CLIP) has two members of staff to organise, deliver and promote the training in co-operation with the partners and community groups.  Sharon Mason is the Community Development Worker for the project, based in the Caia Park Partnership and Liz Eccleston is part time Administrator for CLiP, based in Yale College.

During 2006, a Summer and Autumn training programme have been successfully published and implemented with nearly 300 individuals joining a training course.

If you work or volunteer for a community group in the Wrexham County Borough area and have training needs or suggestions then please contact us to let us know.
